What's the recommended product to use?

on chrome or alloy?

on chrome I would just use some normal car polish - something like Auto Glym SRP
Alloy go for Auto Glym Metal polish - not the one in the white bottle but the one in the small tube - they are slightly different.

That's interesting, my AG Rep said they are the same product ?

im going by a write up in magazine recently - they tested numerous metal polishes and came up with better results using the tube as opposed to the bottel but could well be talking crap mate.
If the rep said they are the same then I guess they must be - although after having used loads of both versions the tube version is noticably thicker

I noticed the consitancy difference have both here, guess it makes it more diluted so may have an effect.

The tube ones seems identical to Autosol.
