ciggy lighter

Hi,

how to i get to the ciggy lighter wires i know the little thing to the right of it pops out is there any way of getting the whole thing out so i can solder new wires onto it? its a 2005 dynamique btw

yes pull out the ash/coin holder. then the whole section pulls out around it. Just pop clips holding it i. Pull it from the front of the section (nearest to ciggy lighter. Personally i cut the insulation off the wires in a small area then soldered onto it and shrink wrapped around them. I did this to hard wire my road angel

Yeah once you give the plastic surround a little pull, you can access the wires fairly easily. I also took advantage of this and hard wired my road angel. Plus decided to change the red alarm led to a blue one!
