Cleaing sideskirts

Have bought some new sideskirts and they have some sealant around the top of the skirts on the painted bodywork parts, whats the best way to remove the sealant and clean the sideskirts?

His username is literally "Rich", he is a huge poster on the forums and is considered the "oracle" of detailing...
