Clean colour coded car

Right...

I decided not to sell my strips and door handles. I've being colour coding them off and on over the last 2 days and finally fitted them today, gave the car a clean and polished/waxed them up for protection.

Before, during and after pic's below.

Before (as I bought them from Has):

Oh and I haven't had time to do the boot lock yet. Will do it within the next month or so. May even stretch to the front fog light surrounds and the rest of the wing mirror housing.

  Civic Type-R
That looks quality!!! :D Ive just had my bumpstrips done think I need to get the handles done too looking at that!

Shall I cut a section out of the bonnet and have the throttle bodies poking out? :) :)

It's gonna be rapido once the car is on tb's.

Still gotta spray the boot lock as said above, can maybe get some ph2 lights cheap too if needed.

that looks awesome, have seen this done on other Mk1s and it didn't look anything, for some reason, yours looks ACE. My advice though, don't do the fogs surrounds and mirror plates.

  Chocolate Bar™
did you do it yourself with proper 2 pack paint or with cans? looks like a quality job and does make a big improvement.

should have colour coded the Ph-Quick strips, i think they look better.

however, from a distance they look the same. Looks like you did a good job spraying them too :approve:

Professionally done with high build primer, 2 pack paint, clear coat. Not with lynx deodrant cans.

Computer says No?

I'm @ college doing vehicle body repair and also have a job in a body shop so I have access to spray booths, guns etc etc.

If you did it yourself it could turn out rougher than expected. Don't use a can. It's gotta go on your car at the end of the day, i'd want it to look as good as possible. Do it properly or pay someone to do it properly.

  As father and son....
absolutely mint :) i still have much love for Clios

rich change your avatar i find it offensive! :p

Agreed.

Not get a cup spoiler and carbon front splitter.

i think doing the fog surrounds looks good, but leave the mirrors as they are. Fancy doing some colourcoding for me on the cheap? lol

Not sure if I have time mate, fairly busy at the moment with 2 jobs.

Ali - I had a v6 mk2 255 spoiler to put on. Repaired it and sold it instead to someone on here as I needed the cash. It did look good when it was on...I thought it looked better than the cup spoiler.

If someone wants to donate me some ph2 lights and a ph2 rear bumper i'd happily snap their hands off. Otherwise i've gotta wait until my throttle bodies are on before I can do anymore bodywork to the car.

It's on coilovers. It's just whacked down low enough, not sure how much by exactly. Exhaust, de-cat often scrapes speed bumps.
