Clean your car discount

Yeh so i seen. I'm guessin thats an aquired points contribution and they you get a discount from that. I'll phone tim tomo.

I've had a few technical difficulties with the mod I'd installed for the coupons. I asked the person taht did it to update it and make some changes and in doing so they cocked it up and have stopped replying to emails.
Instead what I've done and I think long term it will be better is to do a proper loyalty scheme so basically you get a point for every £ spent and that then can be redeemed on the next order. Each point is worth 5p so the same as a discount, but it just means everyone gets them.
I have a feeling it might cost me more money because of this, but hopefully it might encourge people to come back more as the savings are stored on the site.
I'm still implimenting the loyalty mod at the moment but if I can work out how I'll still honour the discount coupons as well.

You might not be buying any Swissvax from me if they have their way. I've just been sent a letter today from Swissvax UK telling me I have until the 14th of December before they stop 'supporting' online resellers. After this only they will have an online presence and those associated with an authorised detailer.
Nice of them to phone and tell me about the planned changes. I had to hear it through the rumour mill

Yeah too right. I've not had a chance to speak to them yet. It may just mean I have to officially become a detailer to carry on selling the products but taht would just be wrong as I only do teh odd car on my days off and it's certainly not a full time thing for me.

bugger i spent 80 odd quid on my order last week
must have just missed out on the points scheme
If you can hang on a week, I should be able to retro award points . I've having more features added to the loyalty scheme that would allow me to do this.
