  Up rocks
Any tips for removing that as my wheels look exactly the same at the minute. Tried Autoglym wheel cleaner but it dosnt quite get it out of the corners, i'm thinking maybe a tooth brush might help?

  ITB'd 182...
small paint brush and auto glym engine & machine cleaner.

if eats eaten away at the paint then they will need paint im affraid.

well the first attempt at getting it off used up half a big bottle of autoglym wheel cleaner, a whole bottle of fairy power spray (which is actually the best wheel cleaner about) and some neat acid from my mates garage. And it still didn't lift.

Think they need a rub down, lol

Looking at those pics ,a refurb is the only way to sort them out . Even the legendary fairy power spray won't shift that if it's burnt into the paint which it looks like it has .

Tried Wonder Wheels? I used it last weekend, did a great job.

LOL, check what i used already.

I'm not fussed about the wheels, they're battle scars as far as I'm concerned.

You're right chris, she does look better dirty ;)

Fairy Power spray? I LOVE this site! You think you've learned alot and then you read that!

Why do you all rate it so highly then? I'm going to be buying some though, that's for sure!

There are pads as good that don't SH AG your wheels! CL & PF i'd 100% avoid!

Looks good from a distance tho!

LOL at from a distance.

Ah well, what's done is done. Might finally get a dry ring trip to try them out in a few weeks. She's heading for 100 laps bless her.

which ones Ali?

DS2500/3000's The latter bein a bit more agressive..But still not to the same extreme.

I was quite impressed with the Pagid Blues too, which were worse the theferrodo's but still alot less 'paint/wheel sh agging'

I use the stuff Surechemicals sell, amazing stuff. It's called Sheetclean and is designed to clean the side of lorry tarpaulin (sp). My parents neighbour used to work there and got me a couple of cans of the stuff.

Good to see the ledge still going strong. Sod the wheels, you can't see them from inside the car.
