Cleanest EsCo?

It is VERY nice, but would be a nightmare to own. It screams steal me and appeals to the criminal masses.

Thought that was a true Monte then, but it's a replica. Very nice replica though.

One day will own one.

Lovely and clean car.

I could sit and look at one but i couldnt own one. There is just too much involved in looking after one now.

For me they are basically classics now, so i don't see modified ones as particularly desirable. It would also have to be in that lovely Imperial Blue (that's right, isn't it?).

Bloody loving that sleeper Escort though!

A close friend of mine's dad has one sitting with 2k miles (iirc) in his garage. Completely standard in the blue. Amazing!

Nice car, but for a 2wd converted escos thats overpriced even at that spec IMHO.

Only way he'll see that sort of money is breaking it I reckon.

Esc cos :approve:

Wennys escort is EPIC seen it go several time needs to be seen to be believed how quick it is !!
Ultimate sleeper :approve:

It's lovely, looks superb on the Rondells but (!), I think I'd prefer a standard one.

Maybe.

Comp MO's or the original mag rally wheels get my vote, but I like them totally standard TBH, just limits brake choice a bit, and the 18" version of the standard wheels look out of proportion.

I love the fact Wennys Mk3 has the 1.3 badge on the back. I'll try and dig some pictures of their "royal nail" van out.

Basically a royal mail van, on black steels, with a quick cosworth engine. Complete sleeper!

I remember that! Have a few pics somewhere from Ford Fair 4 years back or so.

Edit, found one:

My mates got a white one for sale for 22k just done 12k if anyones interested pm me and I'll send you his number

I get hard over EsCos's

Imp Blue or Green and completely standard please.

You'll be properly dissapointed in the performance if you drive a standard one, they are no quicker than a 172 really.
Easy to get massive increases in power though, although the gearbox is a bit on the weak side.

I honestly wouldn't be. I just want one to clean every nut and bolt and have perfect.

Mountune stage 1 engine would be considered though.

If you get an early big turbo model you can get 350bhp+ out of it without it really needing to look like its modified particuarly, standard turbo will do it etc.

They're even worse performance wise as standard than the small turbo ones, still got no balls at the top end but really laggy as well, horrid car really as standard, although not as bad as an rs500 i guess.
