for the exterior id get the following
Meguiars Soft Wash Gel Shampoo
Meguiars Stage 1 Paint Cleaner
Meguiars Stage 2 Polish
Zymol Wax - Cream or Carbon depending on car colour
Meguairs Quik Detailer
the wax is available on
http://www.zymol.co.ukwww.zymol.co.uk its expensive but its wicked, get the meguairs from either
http://www.meguiars.co.ukwww.meguiars.co.uk
http://www.meguairs.co.uk or
http://www.speeding.co.ukwww.speeding.co.uk
i strongly advise you to invest in some microfibre cloths, the Zymol one is the best however if you dont want to spend that much Motor World do em for £2.99 each..., and Serious Performance do em for £1.99 !
to apply the polishes and wax get some foam applicator pads, the Zymol ones ive used are slightly better than the Meguairs
also get some terry towels
the quik detailer is excellent stuff and should be used IMO about an hour after your car has been waxed, it sorts the surface out completely and leaves a good shine too........you can also use it when your car has water marks or is dusty etc.......
if you dont wanna spend £40 on a wax, then ive heard a product called P21-S Concours Look Carnauba Wax is just as good and half the price, thats available from
http://www.seriousperformance.co.ukwww.seriousperformance.co.uk and if your getting that then you could replace the Meguairs stage 1 and 2 with P21-S Paint Work Cleaner
id advise the use of a polish/paint cleaner before you use any proper wax product, you really do get a lot better shine from it......
if you havent got one already a Chamois is a must, the Auto Glym Synthetic one is very good, not used any of the others so cant comment
