Which will save me more time? Its as black as eddie Murphy so needs a good wire wool/Autosol session. But I'm lazy so want to know if its hot will it be quicker?? lol.

Cheers.

Always cold Daniel. Otherwise the products will just bake on. If you need advice on products to clean and protect, shout.

Right then you bunch of assholes,

I spent 2 hours on it today (cold!) and it came up like new! Like a proper mirror.

I've used autosol and wire wool to clean it all up, then autosol on a microfibre to buff it up then Meguirs metal polish to protect it a bit.

Anything else I should do?

Its a big exhaust!!

Its also about 4 years old and never ever been cleaned. (Properly, including the box, not just the tailpipe)

I'm guessing it's being sold, so that should be it matey. If it's your own, you can get some decent high temp protectants on it to make it a sinch to clean from now onwards, such as the Britemax products. If you are keeping it, shout and I'll point you in the right direction.

Me keeping a car means I'll keep it two months max. As long as it stays clean for that long. I definately won't be doing it again, Back ache city!

I did the 197 today. To do it properly its a diffuser off jobbie! Nothing rubbing your pipes to get a nice shiny end ;)

Its not the clio, its my Impreza. You can see all of it so it was bugging me.

I keep seeing the 320bhp upgrade kit at scoobyclinic and am seriously itching to hit the 'buy' button.

Nah, its just that everyone neglects them which in turn stops them being visible ;)
