Cleaning products

The shampoo isn't that good but the AG SRP is good and used by quite a few.

I use Duragloss for my shampoo now, used to use CG Wash'n'Wax.

Shampoo is not the greatest the Super Resin is a damn good product, not great for paint correction but works a treat as a light cleaner and polish and base for waxes or sealants.

Stick to the SRP !!!!!! It does nothing better then SRP and won't allow EGP to bond to it like it can SRP. It is also a pain to use.

There's always an array of opinion...Imo, what ever works best for you should be your chosen product line!

For me SRP is too dusty, even when applied in small quantities, EGP is rubbish, i'm in the haters club for that one.

The shampoo is fine as a cleaner, but no suds what so ever.

CG citrus wash and gloss for shampoo
Menz 3:02 for polish, depending on condition of paint.
Glaze - Clearkote
Seal - Blitz or jet seal
Wax - Swisswax ONYX and after each wash Mothers reflection spray.

By Machine Menzerna is a great option I would not choose the 3.02 to work by hand.

A Oily glaze like Clearkote before a sealant is pretty much a waste of time, I go straight to the waxes after them these days.

I used SRP the other day and its left smear marks in the paint. They can only bee seen when in direct sunlight really. It did the same to my old car but it was black and alot more noticable.

I applied with the AG polishing cloths, left it 5mins and buffed off with a microfibre.

Anyone got any ideas?

Apply it with a foam hand pad, work it until it is all/nearly all gone not leaving anything on the paint, then wipe straight away with a clean microfiber.

I'll second that.

Leaving the SRP to stand will cause smearing, so it's always best to work in thoroughly with a pad before wiping away an excess with a clean cloth.

Get it right and the finish will be top-notch. A half-arsed attempt however (which I myself have done on the odd occassion) will look messy.
