Cleaning the Viper

I feel its time I cleaned my Viper induction kit. Has anyone done this before? Got any tips?

was told by PiperX they need cleaning every 20K.....and they do a cleaning kit, dont know how much tho

The viper has a tendancy to tear its filter........keep it well maintained and oiled.

Check it as often as you can.

Ben, by oiled, what exactly do you mean? Where do I get this oil?

from any car place like Motor World or Halfords

the oil is needed to trap the dirt in the foam of the filter

if you dont oil it then you may aswell have a sock as a filter as it will let all the small bits of sh*t into the engine
