Clear repeaters...golf style

I currently have smoked side repeaters...but I love the clear repeaters on new golfs. the fully clear ones with a really shinky background!

Anyone know any place that sells similar ones..that would fit my clio.

Or do you think I could mod the golf ones to fit?

i think he means like a flat glass finish eaither side so it is transparent, only late golfs and VAG cars have them, earlier "new" golfs have the ones that are knobbly plastic on the inside so they appear white/clear, i did measure the new proepr clear ones and they a larger then my 16v repeaters and very expensive to buy, but they do look mint,m not sure if the will show the sing etc underneath,

I was well pissed off after getting my clear repeaters thinking i was a right bad boy then loads of clios popped up with clear ones! doh!

Ive just looked at my mums golf, repeaters nothin special?

My "custom" ones should be ready soon

got 3 square leds in them and they sit flush in the recess on my front wing

might make some more when ive finished em

f**k it then...ill stick with the smoked ones.

they just fill up with condensation too much!

im gonna try do some handy work and sort them:)

i have a pair of the vw ones off my old mk4 golf gti, they have a chrome look and you can fit an orange bulb in without it showing as it has a chrome cover inside.

Blinking things are just too big for the clio (blinking geddit :D )

thats not what i mean, the latest VAG ones are flat face clear plasric both sides, i ordered mine today from audi, ill see whats involved in fitting as they are designed to fit in recessed wings, but 16v/williams wings are fibre glass anyway which is very easy to change

your missing the point still, see the knobbles on the inide face of the lense, the VAG ones i have bought ar flat glass both sides, like a window (without the obscured glazing that the others have)

£75 a pair the had better be right! and yes they are too big and need to be modifing to fit

OUCH!!

I know, I was just showing the closest ones that are of the same design. It would be better if they did manufacture a smooth one in this design (without the inset design) , tyipical!

For your sake I hope they work, when are you expecting them? (post a photo when done)

I cant see this crystal design

i found one that does say renault clio cystal side repeater...but dont look as clear as the golf ones!

thats the ones bardley, they do look great if a little bit big, i will let you know how i get on fitting, but its only plastic to plastice so it cant be that difficult

There the ones i have from my mk4 golf, the buld holders smaller than the renault ones, the clips are different and there about 1/2" longer than the recess

£75!!!!!!! you could have bought mine for a tenner :D
