clicking noise wen braking



on a clio sport 02 plate cant understand when im driving about average speed and i then start to brake from the front passange wheel their is a clicking noise had discs and pads off no sign of owt wrong only does it wen im braking ??????????
 
Just check the fornt supenion could be the ball joint or engine mounts see what might be catching might just be badly fitting pads.
 
cant understand it got blackdiamond discs and pads recentley checked if they was cracked or warped still no luck either shocker or engine mount

I've found a few types of aftermekt pads don't fit in the calipers very well and can rattle about.

does it pulse through the pedals? - if so abs fault connector not hooked up abs in safe mode.

Check the metal clip on the cv joint boot , they snap .If its snapped and still in place it will have sprung open and catch the brake caliper each time the wheel turns .

Have you noticed any dirt or grease on your alloy . Usually a good indication that the clip has failed .
