Climate Control? Heating? Air Con?

  DCi
I've never understood the difference between climate control and 'proper' air con - it appears from reading this forum there is some kind of difference!

So could someone explain what the difference is between Climate control and air con (and also for the sake of completeness the difference between normal heaters (when you just get dials) and the other 2)

Thanks!!

AC is sort of like what you have in a standard car, ie you have the fan speed, heat, and direction dials. With these you have a AC button that you press. So in effect, you have to still do it all manually. Climate is fully digital. You have no dials on the dash, just buttons. Climate can work manually with pressing buttons for fan speed/temp etc, or it can be pre set to a temp, and the AC unit dials in how much heat/fan speed it needs for it to keep the cabin at that temp :)

CC put it at 21 degrees, on hot day it will cool the car down, on a cold day will warm it up.

Air Con just blows at whatever you put it on no matter what the weather.
