Climate control

Wonder if anyone can help. Whilst driving my 182 (2005) today the service light has come on and the climate control unit has died, there is lights on it at all. Checked the fuse but it seems fine. Wonder if anyone has any ideas, Ran out of warranty 10 days ago.

How come it ran out of warently its 3 year warently/60k. 2005+3 = 2008 even if its an import that still stands

Take the unit out if you've no warently and check its plugged in the units can just die is there no fan or somehting? The fan dying is a common issues £85 for a new resister pack dead easy to change under the scuttle panel it sits in a pool of water usually (hence the problem)
