Clio 06 Indicator problem

Hi,

My dad got a 06 clio, (not campus shape) He's been having problems with the indicators, ones switched on it goes off once then stops, to keep it going he's got to hold the stalk. Now it's completely not working. The indicators work if the hazard button is pressed. Would this be the relay for the indicator or would it be the actual stalk?

I'd check the relay first, A lot easier to do than the stalk, iirc I don't think there is a seperate relay for each side tho?
