Clio 1.2 Ideas

Just got a new clio 1.2 and want some ideas on what i can do to it!?

You can sign up to be a full member, that will benefit it quite a lot.

Other than that just look around the forum and see other members cars and see what you think looks nice and would suit.

Don't go over the top. Don't bother looking at performance mods no point...
Drop it, maybe some nice rims and some half decent upgrades like aero wipers etc

Signing up definatly is worth it. Opens up loads of new information you will need if you keep the Clio for some time

yeah i wasnt really going to look into the perfrormance mods, at the end of the day its a 1.2 so ill just have to live with that lol. also how much of a drop would you recommend i've been trying to decide but can't really make my mind up. cheers

60mm drop and a nice set of alloys.

If it's a MK2 PH1 look for PH2 rear lights, they work a treat and make the car look nice also. Then there are dual optic lights (which i am selling) that you can upgrade.

Hi there I am just about to buy a Renault Clio 1.2 MK2 as i am 18 in two week, I love the look of the Standard Clios but you can do loads with them, for example with mine I want to add RenaultSport 172 alloys, bumpers and interior which doesnt cost a great deal, also the audio side of things is very easy to change in a clio i have been told, so going from a 2005 Toyota Corolla 1.4L VVTI where you cant mod anything will be nice

Yea i've beent told to drop it 60mm so ill deffo be doing that soon. Also how much do you reckon coilovers would cost and where would you recommend buying them from. Cheers

You'll be missing the corolla once the french heritage of the clio shows its roots every other week

How much £ have you got to spend on suspension? Set yourself a budget and that will give us more of an idea about what springs/coileys to get any pics of your car mate?

I've got about £250 the spend on the suspension i could get more but im out of work atm so im trying to like keep a bit to live on I do have pics but unsure on how to upload them would you mind helping me please lol? Cheers

yeah join up mate your get more replys, but keep the engine as is maybe an exhaust. keep the styling subtle lower it and get some good alloys.
