Clio 1.4 16v High biting point

Car  Clio 1.4 16v 5dr
Hi Everyone,

i know this has been discussed before but my clio has a very high biting point even though i have replaced the clutch and clutch cable?

is there something else i can do to get it to bite a bit lower?

thanks

Not sure if I got right your question..

Did you "reset" the clutch pedal ratchet mechanism ?

I think so, the clutch replacement and clutch cable replacement was not done be me, to reset the mechanism do you just unhook the cable, depress the clutch and then reattach the cable?

thanks

I have a 1.2 16v and i myself thought this , after i got this checked by 2 different garages they have just put it down to a unique clio feature , as long as it aint slipping it should be fine(y)
