Clio 172 central locking

Hello,

I just got a 172 for a track car. I know that central locking questions have been asked before and i have searched but i can't seem to find something the same as mine.

First of all going from a search i assume my boot not opening may have something to do with this issue.

I press the button on my fob and the hazards flash and alarm goes on but the doors don't lock?

Any help would be appreciated.
