Clio 172 cup central locking keeps locking and unlocking

Hi all
I've had this intermittent problem whereby the central locking keeping locking and unlocking/ locking and unlocking at random and the interior lock button sometimes functions sometimes doesn't, I've disconnected the interior switch to see if this was causing the fault but the locking unlocking carried on regardless of whether the switch was connected or not. I had kinda resigned myself that it was probably uch related but could it be a relay is the a central locking relay separate from the uch on the 172?

I get this when the car has been laid up for a while not on charge. I find it stops after a drive and the battery has some juice back in or get it on a trickle charger.
