Clio 2 died on highway

  2001 Clio 1.2 16v
Hello,
Yesterday i was driving on the highway on my 1.2 16v clio 2 ph 2 2001, i was doing some spirited drive, when the electric fault light came on, and my car stopped accelarating. I stopped on the side of the highway to acess, when i discover my hood cable broke. When i try to turn it on, it turns over, but it won't start. The red imobilizer stays on the whole time ( i tried another key, no luck). I had to get it towed, to nearby my house, and the tow man said it was the timing belt that broke ( it has 15k km on it and 2 years old) because the engine spins fast when i try to get it start (its the same speed it always been), and the car didn't shake or nothing, it just started to not accelerate.

What could it be? Timing belt?I'm thinking its either the immobilizer, tdc sensor, distribuitor or the fuel pump.
Can someone give me some guidance?

Thanks

It's really hard to diagnose over the internet, particularly with no pictures. I'd start from the basics. Is the immobiliser working? Are the plugs generating a spark and is there fuel coming from the injectors?
But if the recovery guy thinks the belts have gone that should be a very quick thing to check. Even if you can't open the bonnet you should be able to take the wheel and arch liner off and view the engine from the side.

I readed the codes on my elm327 obd, and it came out with injector 2 low voltage, fuel pressure too high and p1028 which is either the throttle body failure or ntake Manifold Air Control Solenoid Short Open Circuit. Which one is making my car not start?

The fuel pressure being high and injector 2 fault I would have thought would make it run badly, but not enough to kill it. Throttle body failure may be bad enough to stop it starting.
Have you checked the belts?
Personally I'd get it to someone with a clip diagnostic tool.

Many many years ago my twingo just died in the middle of road during a spirited drive. After much pushing and swearing I figured out what was wrong with it on the side of road. Starter would spin, but wouldn't start.

The plug fell out of the coil pack, I plugged it back in and it started straight back up.
