Clio 2 rear coilover or separate damper/spring

Having an interesting discussion about a new suspension kit in development.
Are people really bothered with having a full rear coilover?
You can adjust the rear platforms so can still cornerweight.

But if the damper and rear spring rate is not bespoke for each customer does it really matter?
Interested in peoples thoughts...

Depends who you're marketing the damper at.
Is it at someone who wants a high end adjustable damper designed for their own intended purpose or for the lads who just want their car slammed?

Would prefer rear coilies, no specific reason, just cool factor....

For competition use (especially rally folk) the ability to mess with spring rates can be useful for use on different surfaces. It's much easier with coil overs, as there are loads of off-the-shelf springs out there.

For the average Joe, as above, it's probably just cool factor.

Considering they will be a common size. My asts use an odd size for the rears.

Its been so long I cannot remember who this was with! It may have been AVO. They had a good product at first when they relaunched but then f****d up their products with such poor manufacturing and assembly they went out of business. We are yet to see whats going to happen in the future with the assets being bought by Turbo Technics but theres going to need to be a few changes before I'd want to sell them again.
Maybe it was Nitron but they've never been something i'd normally quote as affordable.
Theres relatively little in options when on a budget so best bet is to drop me an email with what things you must have and we can go through whats available.

Were you looking at something fully adjustable or more on the budget track side just for some adjustment?
I did similar for the 306's with some custom Foxes at one point, they've got a bit pricy since then though...
