Clio 200 accelerator pedal 'click'

What's the 'click' for when the pedal is fully pressed please guys? Used the search function but there's no definitive answer. Nothing seems to happen but it doesn't feel like a fault as such.

If its anything like the 1*2 its to by bypass the speed limiter if you have it set... I think it can also turn off the cruise control but i could be wrong in that, i cant really remember

It only turns of the speed limiter.

As said above, just turns the speed limiter off. To turn the cruise control off press either the clutch, brake or accelerator
