Just come back from a 4 day driving break through France, Belgium and Germany. Spent Friday night in accommodation near Spa, Belgium and 2 nights in Adenau near the Nurburgring. It was ten years ago to the weekend that a few friends and I made our first ever trip to the Green Hell so we decided to go back for a tenth anniversary

The emphasis over the 4 days was to minimise motorway use and break out into the countryside to make the most of the regions scenery and roads.

941 miles in the 4 days averaging 37mpg. I also squeezed in 3 laps of the Ring when it was dry which was cool.

Awesome photos!
Would love to do a trip like that.
I've done the trip a few times always taking the E40 through Brussels, it's only when you get past that bit hitting the E42 towards Spa you kind of see some scenery. This time I went south a bit more first then headed east below the E40. I came of the E42 much earlier to sample a more scenic drive which took much longer but was in no rush whatsoever

Liking the look of that Hyundai.
There was 3 of them there, I have to say I liked them in the press photos and in real they live up to them too. They sound really nice

My second this year as we attended the Eiffel Rally in July which was about 20 miles south of the Nurburgring. I just love the roads and the views out there, it's soo much better. Hardly any traffic and sometimes it was that isolated we didn't see a car for ages.

I've driven across France Belgium Holland and into Germany and stayed the night at the Nurburgring hotel in a 5 day driving holiday, it was lush and the roads around the ring are almost as good as the track itself. Shame I was in a boring car.. I've remidied now buying my Clio 200, so I'll be going back and doing it again at some point

the hotel with you parked out side ,to the left of the hotel I stayed in the big house for a week nice place .

Love a good Nurburgring post, some great photos too, especially the last two.
I agree on the only 941 miles!
I did a 'Ring trip with my mate in my old 182 and even with a couple of days in the Alps after, we managed more than 2200 miles in 5 days!

Got me all nostalgic now, so here's some of my Nurburgring holiday snaps lol the first few are from our hotel room at the ring and the last ones a Bayer Leverkusen game we caught when we stayed overnight at the stadium.
