Clio 2009 radio

I’m trying to remove my radio on my Renault Clio but when I get to this stage the unit gets jammed, it feels like the wires are stopping it coming out. Any help to get it out?

I would trying taking off the glovebox and seeing if you can stop the cables snagging that way, as it's a 5 minute job.
