Clio Auto wipers > Intermittent Wipers?

Can i get my local renault dealer to disable the auto wiper on my 182 and change it for intermittent wipers?

I don't like the auto wiper!!!!

read the manual under 'wipers' it will tell you how to turn them off

i have been trying to work mine out for the last 2 weeks - the auto wipers only seem to kick in when there is too much water on the screen to see the bonnet!!

The way mine work is the if the wiper switch is in the fully up position the wipers are of, one click down and their on automatic then the next two clicks just give you your normal wipers fast and faster. Is yours different?

^^ mine is just the same. Didnt think you could set it to intermitant.

put the wiper stalk up to highest position and it turns intermittent wipers off,then if you put the stalk down past the intermittent section then the wipers should go every now and again but not in automatic mode.

it was bone dry today, i was reversing at some speed, and all of a sudden my rear wiper automatically came on!

The rear wiper will come on in reverse if the stalk is set to auto.
