Clio Died Today. Then Rescued By the rac.

  Renault clio 2005
Was shocked today when my clio refused to start. Turned the key and it made some very strange noises and failed to start. Radio was turning on and off randomly and only one door was locking with the central locking. My mate had a look and said he thought it was a computer fault. I was very worried. so I called rac to come and sort the car. They came out within 2 hours and sorted the car out. the battery needed to be replaced had failed suddenly. It was original clio battery so had done very well :). Car is now fine and rac guy was amazing :) He even checked oil and topped it up and sorted my windscreen wipers out. :)

You sound like he sucked you off calling him amazing lol!

I hate the RAC, bloke in an RAC van stole my football when it went over the gate when I was ten years old, have been with the AA since driving! lol

Lol He Did Not suck me off thankfully But he did get My car sorted for a good price and That car is My pride and Joy as well as being a Large asset of My Business. This is not the normal experience I have normally had with the motor trade. It has restored My faith in quality mechanics.

And to Me that Is a much better feeling than being sucked off By a guy Who Drives a white golf

Whats with all the negativity towards this chap?

To the Op- sounds like you've had a good experience with a decent mechanic, or someone just doing his job properly.
Your radio code will be in your service book on the front page, failing that, Bonxy made a website where you can get your code for free

Thanks How do I Find this website Have every bit of owners manual other than the Radio code. And yes this is my first decent experience with a mechanic. I dunno why so much negativity towards me lol. Maybe is is because I am a Driving Instructor.

As for the RAC (it's capitalised as it's an initialism) bloke doing your oil and wipers, did you suck him off?
Aren't you required to know how to do extremely basic things like that as part of being a driving instructor?

We are not Mechanics we are only Tested On knowledge of the rules of the road and teaching techniques And practical driving ability and practical teaching ability.
And No I did not suck the guy off who did my oil wipers and battery. Weird thing to think up that really Scarble. Do you have something your not telling us about You and a Rac guy? Spill the beans mate you will feel better when you get if off your chest :)

Any more s**t from other users that gets posted here will get you a day off. Chaz, ignore them - glad you got it sorted in the end :)
