as said, i assume you're talking about gearbox oil?

how do you do this?

you top up the oil untill it starts coming back out, thats how you know its full, as well changing it while your doing it though!

probably a work gearbox mount

Very common on the older renault generation for the gearbox's to baulk like that.

Change the oil for some decent stuff and should make the world of difference.

If your car is getting on for 70k miles and 7+ years old it should be due for a gearbox oil change.
8mm. Drain plug under the gearbox and filler is a black winged plug half way up the box facing the radiator, just about opposite the bottom hose connector on rad. It's awkward to get to, you need long skinny arms.
