Clio for young people?

following the bickering in the punto thread...
at what point did i say i overtook him then slowed down? i over took him when he would be doing say 30/40mph, and then sat at the speed limit

as for the rest cant see what exactly is wrong with it apart from the fact that you have no sense of humour, probably because your a 40yr old virgin driving a 20yr old guys car? who knows

watch it I'm 36 and drive a 197..lol.. have 2 kids so not a virgin though...:)
better start looking for a change soon eh ;) nice C class merc 1.8 or something ;)

only kidding dude lol
Do you feel that a clio is a boy's car rather than a man's car?
for those who are older im guessing that you have one for the fun factor?

tbh most of the people i see driving rs clios are usually middle aged. certainly not teenagers. non rs models however are a bit more common with 17-21 year olds

I see people of all ages with them. Doesnt matter what age you are. Aslong as you enjoy the car. Everyone obviously buys an RS for a reason.

  BMW 323i Coupe
Around here, most people driving Clio's are young. I've seen a few businessmen driving around in some though.

I used to find it funny when people thought it was a girls choice of car, most definitely not.

  Turbos.
I actually see quite a few middle aged people driving Clio Sports. Normal Clios are a mix... theres so many about.

I'm not sure how a lot of people younger than me afford a 182 to be honest - I'm 26, insurance is still over £800 for the year and the actual car was around 7K. I didn't earn the sort of money to have that amount of spare cash available in any of my previous jobs!

But if I'm classed as an older driver on this forum, it's definitely a great fun car to have IMO and practical too (apart from the d*** front splitter, don't get me started). Although I'm looking to change to either a 350Z or an E46 M3 in 3/4 years...

Your insurance is expensive for your age tbh. I'm 23 insurance on a 197 cup is £650

  Never above 25mpg
I got my MK1 because it was cheap and cheap to insure! I then wanted a MK2 because of how good my MK1 was and the insurance stayed cheap!

agreed, but I live in a part of london which appears to be classed as "high risk" and I've only got 1 years no claim bonus. My girlfriend's 1996 escort was over £400 last year!

Not a clio but I've seen two old people, (70+) driving a Corsa VXR. That was not a pretty sight tbh.
