2004 Renault Clio 2
So yesterday, parked my car in the garage, pulled my seat down to get something from the back, and, that's the last motion that seat did. Got stuck in the folded position, and I just reclined it, but it won't fold any more as the cable snapped. It snapped not from the usual place that I've found information for online, but rather, imagine I'm sitting on the seat, facing forward. On my right hand side, just at the bottom where the seat folds forward, there's a cable there that has a ball on the end inside a gray piece of plastic. That's where it snapped from. Am I able to replace this myself? If so, how? Do I need the actual part, or can I just head down to a bike shop and buy some cable and a stopper from there? Any advice please? Thanks in advance.
