Clio Lighting Experiment - Part 1

After washing the car (again!), I decided to pop out to have a play with my studio flashes. I had a play with the rig a while ago with dissapointing result, but today went MUCH better!

These photos are to get myself some more experience in external lighting, so I wasnt really paying attention to composition etc, mainly lighting.

Some of the lighting is a bit harsh, that's because I was unable to use my brollys because of the wind! I tried to set them up, and they blew away!!

Anyway, enough talk......

They're not 100% perfect, but like I said, these were practice shots :)

I might go out again soon, to get a bit more practice. Hopefully I'll be organising a 'photoshoot' with a few of the locals around Tewkesbury :)

Comments welcome!

Really like those dude, seem to have done a good job of keeping the light constant across the car. :) What components do you have in your lighting setup if you don't mind me asking?

Wow mate, impressive. Now go practise people ;)

I think Im going to have to! You don't happen to be doing a dress rehearsal anytime soon? ;)

Thanks, I use two 500W flashes, each with their own battery, so they are completely portable. I was going to take some 'out-take' shots, but I forgot lol!
