Hi , Im looking to get a bit more power out of my Ph1 1.4 Rt. I know it’s never going to be very fast, im not looking to swap engines either , I just want to squeeze some from the 1.4. I assume it would have been a lot easier to get parts back in the day but I thought it would be worth an ask. Ive seen the threads about the 1.8 laguna TB does this work and where can you get a chip for it? Manifold? Cams? Induction from ph1 laguna? Panel filter? Thanks in advance.

I don't know much about these engines, there will no doubt be some golden threads on here from back in the day.
As you say you wont really get much more power from it and will struggle to find any aftermarket parts these days but just stick to the old school tuning methods, cone filter with as much cold air as you can get to it, 98/99ron fuel, get a custom exhaust on it. If your handy with the spanners get the cylinder head off it and skim a bit off it to raise the compression and flow the inlet manifold if it needs it lol
