Clio MkII Performance Upgrade?

  Clio Dynamique Noir
I have a 51 plate 1.2 MkII clio..since ive been driving all ive wanted to do is just go faster! Ive recently upgraded my speakers and have a sub in the back which has added quite a bit of weight to my car.
I know theres nothing drastic i can do to my car to make it hugely faster other than a conversion...but is there anything i can do that will improve the performance slightly at all??
Thanks
Mark

Remove dead weight e.g. Spare wheel, rear seats, etc. Free and easy ;)

Other than that, air filter, CAF and a exhaust will slighty improve acceleration responce, but wont make it go faster.

Without spending thousands, don't bother. If you strip the car out that will improve things noticeably, but would you really want to live with a car like that?

Lose weight from the car and better brakes. Maybe not 'quicker' but better braking means you can push the car a little more.

This clearly isn't a track car so shouldn't be treated as one! Don't think that with some better brakes you can leave to the last minute before attempting some heroic driving on a public road.

There isn't anything worth doing to the car besides learning to drive and gaining experience.

Never said anything about heroic driving, nothing wrong with pushing your car though. Even if you don't, better brakes are always nice to have them.

I know i'd be happier driving at 60 on a NSL B road with a decent brake setup than at 45 without.
