Clio one Phase 2 lost drive.

Yesterday night on a 3 way stop sign, i went hard on the accelerator to avoid the car on my right...wheels screeched...managed to make a right turn and to my surprise when into the second it felt as if my car is on neutral..

What went wrong? Im i not supposed to throw the car into powermode using my foot flat on the accelerator? Now i gat a car that starts..idles perfect but never move..while idling i can even change gears without stepping on the ?clutch.

Yeah sounds like it’s popped the circlip.
