clio rear diamond

  A3 2.0TFSI QUATTRO
Take of your boot plastic trim inside then there is 3 nuts (gold) then your full boot handle part will come off

Two ways -

1. Some'll say you can just pull the diamond off - could be easy, or could do damage.
2. Or my preference, the safest way - open bootlid, remove screw from interior trim panel (near handle), pull panel off (seven clips iirc), remove three nuts from inside of handle, pull mechanism (inside) away from handle (outside), they're just clipped together. With handle removed you'll see the four 'tabs' inside the handle that stick through from the diamond, with ends melted over. Either soften the melted bits with a sodering iron to remove it, or pick/cut the bits off. You may need some glue to re-attach - but don't go mad or you'll never be able to get it off again if you need to.
