right the clios due for a service, 46k, so due for belts. (if not behind with the aux belt!)
only 1.2 16v
how much people payed for the (what should be ) 36k service?

1.2 belts stay till 72k/5 years under warently from memory.

£200~£250 I'd say at a dealership.
£150~£200 elsewhere.

o, had a bit of a bad thing other day tho, u no the plastic engine cover, it fell into the aux belt for god knows how long. and its taken chunks out of the plastic, that cant be good for the belts can it tho?
ye its 5 years next month aswell - god that sounds bad, 5 years old eek.

engine / exhaust sounds funny in high revs anyway. also the exhaust keeps coming loose when thrown round corners at pace so it sounds like its got a f**king rage exhaust on till i push it back with my foot - that fixes it. could do with that looking at aswell

A chunch came out the the Aux belt or the cover? The covers I'd guess which isn't good. Belts are difficult to know if they'll break

If its 5 years old, and you want to keep it good get the brakes fluid chnaged (always a good start) coolent checked/changed the gearbox oil changed and the spark plug (1.2 eat them)

ye thers big gashes in the cover where the belts worn it away. woopsy

so thats been binned. pointless thing anyway

yer plugs done - was idling like s**t.
