If recently brought a Clio 1.6 16 valve 2002 with 65,000miles dynamic for two hundred euros,
It had a snapped cam belt so if replaced all the valves and done everything needEd new an have it running, but when i t is over 30 40 thou rpm its got a loud tapping/knocking, iv checked the timing again an have tested the compretion so no valves bent, I'm now looking at the tappets as the car was sat for a long time an maby have a block or something with the oil pressure?, I'm really confused because everything seems okay, how can I check the tappets ???
Iv had them out and thay seem to okay too ? Anybody have any ideas
