Clio torque steer

  PB Clio 172
Never noticed this before in my RS but I just booted it in first and my car nearly went to the left, it was funny but kinda not if I hit the car. I did have one hand on the wheel mind...

just wondered if it was just me or do the 1*2's suffer from a bit of torque steer?

any help would be good

I get some torque steer too.. you get used to it though.

It's more the initial 'oh ok' when you're first confronted with it!

Just reminds you that she's got some bite.

The first time I pushed mine in 2nd I nearly ended up on the other side of the road, a mix of inexperience, crap tyres and shot trackrods more then likely !

Oh and one of the tyres was at 20 PSI !

My car was like this for ages when I got it. Despite having the tracking checked several times and being told it was fine, it was always two hands on the wheel when pressing on or I'd be into the nearest parked car. Eventually took it to a wheel alignment place where they said the front wheels were pointing inwards. They adjusted it to 0 deg (straight ahead) toe and it was like driving a new car. Totally neutral with very little torque steer.
