Clio V6 (255)

Simon Bailey, in Used Car Buyer, puts it perfectly, in his sum-up of this amazing car.

"I absolutley love my Mk2 V6 and at the moment theres nothing below about £50K that Id change it for. I did have a 172 when they first came out, but when you have a V6 you realise its in a completely different league. The car actually returned a 32 mpg average on a run to the Lake District. And when you open it up on those mountain roads, nothing I have ever owned could compare to it. There are few cars on the road with the presence of a Clio V6."

Hear hear, but about that fuel consumption, ahem, my last tankful showed 18 mpg. (Boy, have I been having FUN with this demon though.)

PS

Parked up next to a 147 GTA 3.2 today. The Clio made it look like a Fiesta LX diesel, on visual appeal.

If that is true I will be taking this further, because such lies should not be in a magazine, imo.

Thanks for those facts, I will be presenting them to the editor.

PMFSL

nah, come on Jas, i think we should have 5 sticky topics about Clio V6 2004 and how the V6 Mk2 is the best car around and nothing can touch it and my nobs bigger than yours etc etc.... "oooh, big me up mon, I have a V6 n tings!"

Love this bit "If that is true I will be taking this further, because such lies should not be in a magazine, imo." I almost shed a tear too when this disturbing info came to light. Well mark my words, Anne Robinson will hear about this for a "Anne Robison returns to Watchdog special".

By the way, did I tell you the V6 is the best car on the planet and I should know because I have driven 10000000 miles and owned and driven over 30000 cars?

There are ten times the amount of threads about the 4-pot Clios.

You must be suicidal about them in, that case.

no offence...but you really are an arse.

The Jesus. Lets have a thread about how the Williams is the best car ever, in that case and how you get off on them. :)

You are a total clown, pure and simple and the word you are looking for is...JEALOUSY.

Come back when you have some real experience of a few fast cars.

If you think that, you havent got a clue about me.

Which makes you a prat, no offence.

Hell, I thought this would be a modern-thinking forum, where people can rave about the cars their hard-earned has bought them, but since talking about the best Clio (255) is a crime and since there are so many idiots like The Jesus here, I thank 182 Sport and a few others for the interesting posts I have read and hereby say good day to the place.

To concentrate on another car forum where people dont still harp on about the good old days the whole time.

The Jesus, you are a total t**ser. Seeya.

Just ignore them fella!

Were not all the same, different people have different opinions, dont let them upset you. Youll learn which people to ignore.

Just my opinion, cheers Stevev6.
