not racing though, just driving very fast!

How fast do you think we were going?
I've read plenty of criticism about the speed, especially at the end in "the built up area"....... The wide angle lens used exaggerates the speed, if you look at the road you'll see there's a series of speed bumps that we drove over, Just how fast do you think we were going considering the car is lowered and stiffened considerably in comparison with a standard V6?
The road at the start was long and straight with a clear view of what was ahead and we do not overtake into oncoming traffic or tailgate and pressurize the cars we caught. It's possible that we did exceed the speed limit, just, but I bet we weren't travelling as quick as some of you seem to think. The slipping belt prevented us from revving anywhere near the limit in any gears and in top it would have only done 125mph if we could get there anyway. We were nowhere near that speed........I bet there's not a member on here, or most other Forums, who hasn't at some point driven at 100mph or close to it on our roads......
