Clio wheel adaptors?

Ive been looking to put 4x108 citoren volcanes on my clio and was wondering if the adaptors work well. Do they make the wheel sit out further and are they safe? Cheers

Adapters will increase track width by 20mm minimum. Whether they poke out or not depends on the new wheels offset

Do you think they would rub against the arches with 60mm springs?

Again, depends on the offset of the new wheel. Which gen Clio are you talking about?

If the offset is the same as the Clio 1*2 wheels (et45) then the arches will need rolling for safety

Look for an et number stamped into the back of the wheel and people will be able to help you more.

The et is 15x6j

The et is 15x6j

15x6j is the rim diameter and width ie 15 inch diameter, 6 inch width. The ET should be a 2 digit number.

Had a Google, standard offset looks like it's ET20: http://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Citroen/ZX (1991 - 1997).html
See if you can find that printed anywhere on the inside of the wheel. Although if it is ET20, with the adapters increasing your track width by 20mm as well I think I'm correct in saying you'd effectively be at ET0 and therefore have very little chance of getting them to fit.

Any ideas how i could get them on? Hub change or can i machine the wheels?

Depending on what they look like from behind they MIGHT be able to be re-drilled.
