Hi everyone, i've seen there is a monthly photography competition but has there ever been a monthly film competition? anyone else think it could be quite a fun idea? obviously set a theme for a short video maybe along with a time limit etc to make it more challenging .... who would enter one if there was one?

Could work seeing as most DSLR's have video now.

I've had a play with trying video but I need some half decent editing software, free preferably.

Great idea in concept, but if we can barely get people to take the time to take a picture and enter it into the photo comp, I doubt that many people will have the time to record and edit, then upload a video, but who knows. I’d definitely do a trial month to see how it goes.
