Clutch help

I'm unsure if my clutch is on the way out. The bite is quiet near to the top of the peddle travel and I know clios have high biting points as iv had my car a over a year now. And I have felt it slip A tiny bit. Is there any sure fire way to tell if it is on the way out as I don't want to be spending £400 on getting it replaced when it doesn't need it. My car car has done 95000 miles so would it be due to go anyway?

To test the clutch, put it in 5th (or 6th) gear and with your foot hard on the brake, release the clutch. No need to rev the engine hard or anything. Of it stalls immediately them clutch is good.
