Clutch noise

  clio 1.4RT
HI,

I had a new clutch put in the old clio (98 Reg 1.4rt) about 3 months ago and all was well.
Nowthere is a whine/noise coming from the front whilst driving and the car has had chance to warm up. The noise goes when i push the clutch in and returns when i take my foot off again....so my thought are the clutch release bearing.

I know i have to take it bk to the garage but its not where i now live and im wondering what harm will come to the engine/clutch if i dont get it sorted straight away. Also if it is the bearing shoud the garage foot the bill and its not that old 3 /4 months old?

cheers

i had my clutch release bearing go,
the thrust bearings only in use while the clutch is on, (pressed)
