clutch of doom

  clio mk1
hi all, got my valver the other day... thing thats really annoying me is how heavy the clutch pedal is, it actually hurts your foot after a while becuase its soo tight and hard to push down... just wondering if there is anything I can do too lossen it up a bit and make it not as paintfull to use!

I know I cant be changing the clutch or anything but surely I can do something with the cable or spring to make it softer? thanks all

soft pedal conversion as used on the 172 etc? means taking the box off (or at least moving it out of the way a bit) so you can get the fork in

apart from that i dont think there is alot you can do?

they are all really tight. I've had 2 engines (so 2 clutches) and TBH I just got used to it. Loved it after a while but was annoying in traffic. But my valver is a B road car really.

As said, a light pedal mod can be done, but It will be a lot of work/money if you can't do it yourself. The easiest thing to try is change the clutch cable. Might feel a tiny bit looser then....maybe
