allright i just bought myself a clio1.8 16v and the clutch rachet has gone is it a big job to do and how much is the part, and would the labour be much if i couldnt do it??? cheers in advance

You mea the pedal ratchet?

There £15 I think for a new one from Renault depends which bits you need.
Pain to do like any job takes about 1 hrs if your doing for your first time reading the Haynes.

Mine cost just short of £25 from Renault as they do not sell the parts seperate (at least thats what they told me). I spent about an hour doing mine. Best way I found was to assemble the pedal and put it on the bar then connect the spring by pulling it behind the pedal with some speaker cable. It can be a pain and watch your fingers!
