just a quick question about the fitment for these.

im aware you need x-low subframes, side mounts, and obviously the seats.

can someone explain how all this bolts together properly?

Pretty easy when you have all of the mounts etc in front of you.

Will need to have the car up in the air to undo and retighten the bolts through the floor.

The Cobra subframes bolt into the existing mounting points, plus the outside one into the seatbelt mounting point.

The side mounts bolt onto the subframes and then into the seats. The multiple holes allow you to adjust the seating position to suit. If you are keeping the sliders make sure that the bolts that hold them to the subframes are long enough to let the nuts have enough purchase. Mine didn't. I removed the spacers too.

I think you also need 'adapter plates' to go between the side mounts from the seats and then to the low subframe that includes the slide runners. I nealy bought the same setup yesterday, the Imola seat is very comfy, sat in the display model at demon tweeks.

oh right, the guy never mentioned the 'adapter plates'.

are these specifically needed as im only looking for a fixed position?

Ah maybe not needed, I only needed them because I wanted to use the slide rails that come with the subframe, I could imagine that the side mount plates will just bolt directly down onto the subframe although I didn't ask that. Cobra were very helpful when I dropped them a few emails asking questions.
