Cold air feed and filter

wot diameter should i have my cold air feed btw i have a 1.2 16v mk2, also which filter is better k&N or pipecross

oh and some help with there website i have a 1.2 16v reg is 02. when i go on the selection of 01/01 there is a pic of my airbox, but when i go on 01/04 the pictures is different from my airbox. a lil help pls?
 
maybe be better off ringing them up to ask for the correct fitment , personally i'd go for the cheapest of the 3 as they are all very good companies and you cant go wrong .

2nd thoughts... iv jus popped up my local halfords and im going for a K&N filter since it comes with a garuntee and according to the guy that serverd me at halfords said they were louder and have a slight better preformance.

after 04 the air filter intake/housing was changed. I got a k and n on mine, is quite loud and has a marginal increase in performance(not a lot though) plus it includes the cold air feed in the box, ill upload some pics of mine for you tomorrow.

But i cant do that, mines a phase 1, and i want my fogs as they are, its really just for the warmer weather, will be going when it cools down.

(SHould sort those scuffs out though)

Why? Its there temporarily and a horn would just make it look really nasty there, that was the most subtle place i could put it without doing any real work.
The plan was to get a relocation pipe, bringing the filter behind the grill but the money is better spent elsewhere.

The only trouble with putting it in the upper grille like that is that you have to remove the alternator water shield, so everytime it rains water will get in.
