Cold air feed for ITG panel filter

Hi all, guess everyone is pretty board with panel filter questions as they seem to come up so regually but i have just brought a ITG pane filter for my 182 and am woundering whether its worth adding a new cold air feed. This isnt in the hope of massive gains or anything like that, just wanted your opinions, kinda thinking the standard air feed might do the job just fine but want to get a second opinion.

I toyed with the idea of fitting a new air duct to the OE box but decided against it as I'm pretty sure the factory one delivers all the air the engine needs.
