Collinite 845 anygood?

Got an amazon voucher off my nan for Xmas so have been nosing around for a decent wax to try. Any thoughts on the above, seems to get decent reviews on the tinternet.

It's very good! spreads really easy and removal is a breeze. Water beading is very good and it will last around 6months.

The only downside is it doesn't feel very special to use but if that doesn't bother you then go for it. You won't be disappointed!

Yeah in not bothered what it's like to use tbh as long as it has good results. May as well spend the voucher on something I will actually enjoy using.

Get the Autoglym HD wax pack mate. £30 bargain. Brilliant Hybrid wax.

Was hoping you would share your knowledge . Can you get that kit through amazon? I would look but I'm off out. Would you say it gives better results than collinite?

Collinite isnt that bad. I have 915 on my car and ita still going strong after 4months until today

Bang for buck i would say AG wax kit was better as yiu get the micro buff cloth and applicator with it, where as collinite is just the tin/tub depending on if you get 915 or 845

The 845 is 16 plus what ever delivery is. I've got applicator pads and cloths so not too bothered if whatever I buy comes on its own. Just after something decent

It's much better than Collinites and much nicer to use. Free cloth snd applicators although i'd bin then for yellow megs.

I have used Collinite and impressed with the durability & beading. Feels like your smearing vaseline all over your car though! Easy to apply and remove. I havent used HD so cant comment on it vs Collinite

845 is the insulator wax. So is a good winter wax. Much better than 476 looks and application wise, but lasts just as long with layers.

Other options with similar durability are fk1000p.

Depends on budget and what you're after (looks, longevity, ease of application).

Ease of use and looks really. Durability isn't a massive player as I wash the car etc every week

Yes I have used it this winter to protect my car and would fully recommend. Very easy to use as well give the bottle a very good shake first though.

Its cheaper than the AG HD wax too! I chose it for durability through the winter mind not so much looks.

If your open to other options I'd highly recommend britemax vantage. Its the easiest wax I've ever used, spreads really nice and is even easier to remove.

All three of these products in the link are brilliant and at this price offer good value for money. I honestly think my clio looks its best after blackmax and vantage.

My bottle of 845 just sits on the shelf now I've got vantage (845 is amazing for £15 tho) and sometimes I would rather use vantage over my autofinesse passion which costs a lot more when you consider the price of this kit.

Only problem is its not on amazon at that price.

If you do get 845 just give it a shake like Adam said also if you leave it in the garage or shed and it gets cold warm it up a bit.

Tbh mate I used AG HD wax well over a year ago so can't remember all that well.

I very much doubt the difference would even be noticeable tbh, the 845 does give quite a nice wet look though.
